Dispatches From the Land of Busy
Y'all! I went to Stitch n' Bitch last night and was so happy to see so many of my knitting friends. I really have to make time to go more often. Just a couple of hours really helps, no matter how busy I am!
("Busy" yesterday meant walking around downtown yesterday with two teenage girls and a photographer in tow. It's amazing how manyidiots adult men will catcall a photo shoot in the middle of a busy street. The models were 14 and 16. I would get into a whole thing here about pedophiles and whatnot but it isn't the place. It's just creepy.)
So, I tried while I was packing for my trip to think about something funny to write about, and the best I could come up with is how when I was a mean little kid I told my younger sister she'd get trench mouth (didn't know what it was, either) from drinking out of the hose. I scared her so bad she washed her own mouth out with soap. Liquid dish soap. (I told you I was mean. I'm nicer now though!)
When I logged on to check blogs, though, I found this meme at Anna's blog and I haven't got around to doing it yet but here goes. Hope my answers are mildly interesting! And if you read this and want to fill it out, then Tag, You're It.
