I knit the armwarmers this way - finish one, write up the pattern while it's fresh in my mind, and knit the other from the pattern. So I am testing it right now. So far I seem to have done a decent job of writing it.

I wore my single armwarmer in the car this morning - it was about 30 degrees. It's very toasty. I'm not sure they would be practical for outside work, but they are really nice for traveling.
