"Feel" and "fill" do not sound the same. Ha. Got this from Cara's blog. Which I would say "Kehr-uh." Probably wrong.

i did it too ... and mine was from "the west", though, i am southern born and raised. but, my parents are from texas and arizona ... so, i guess i sound like them :)
almost all my words sounded the same, "don" and "dawn", etc !
people have often never understood my accent until they met my mother.

That is probably not very shocking to you at all.
Heh! I got North Central and I'm from Maine! I get people confused as I pronounce the words like I always did, but with a bit of Southern twang now and then... :)
