i think Bush knocked it out of the park last night. he did a fantastic job of handling 97% of questions, especially those where the reporters vainly searched for a way to give johnkerry something to complain about him on tv.

if he is elected, i'm calling him president ketchup.

feeling a bit more motivated about health lately as it's gotten nicer outside and there are so many fresh veggies that are not pitiful and soggy. i want to go to the farmer's market and get decent tomatoes, though. publix is good but just doesn't hold a candle to stuff grown on actual farm. i doubt they will have anything local this time of year but maybe still not too many preservatives.

i would like to make it a habit to visit the fm once a week.

so i am eating more veggies, fruit and granola with plain ff yogurt, and walking more than i was. i guess i was sort of maintaining from jan - now but i want to get back into it and lose 10 more pounds. it bugs me that a 10 fits me perfectly at ann taylor except in the stomach. i will be just fine wearing 12s but i don't want to have a gut. but then, i am 33 and there is the realistic idea that i won't ever have my 20-year old body back.

today, however, i don't want it back. i'm happy being me, even if i do have a tummy, and doing the small things will help me get rid of it. i'm not going to freak out about it.
