I've settled on a pattern
I had both cuffs done, but this morning I watched Kung-Fu Hustle and knitted this:

You know, every single sock I've seen knitted up in the Lucy colorway, pools funny. Everyone tries to say "oh but I like it that way. So much like the cat." Whatever. THAT is what it's supposed to do. Wonderful!
