Love the wrist warmer - that turned out very nicely. Hmm. I think I need some, too.
Hopefully you're getting in some staring and lounging, too. :) I particularly love that first picture.
Thanks! It was a very fast knit - 3 hours from start to finish including seaming, and I took a long time to seam it just how I wanted it.
Fee's a pretty girl when you can get her to sit still, but she's a little scrappy looking. Grady is probably the prettier cat in real life (Kirsten?) but he doesn't like the camera, so it's a little more of a challenge.
You were asking about how to give them baths? Patiently. I use lavender/chamomile dog shampoo, run the tub till it's about 3" deep, and soak them with a glass, etc. It works best if I roll up my pajama bottoms and stand in there with them with the curtain closed. I have a towel handy because they like to bolt as soon as they can - so I wrap them up and pick them up before I open the curtain. And then deal with mad, wet kitties all day.
PS, of course I cabled without cable needle, that helps speed things along too.
Wow look at your cat's eyes! Wild.
And great job on the arm warmer.
Yes, it was made for cables! Of course, now that I'm finished I'm thinking up all kinds of customizations. A gusset. A ribbed thumb. Slightly wider construction.
I'll be trying again tonight. :)
What a gorgeous cat. Your pictures are just beautiful!
And your wrist warmer thingies are gorgeous, too. Yarn, pattern, the whole thing.
Your kitties are beautiful - I wish I could get such clear pictures of mine! And those wrist warmers have turned out beautifully!
