98 degrees and a CONTEST
Ok, isn't that a band? Isn't July too early for that kind of weather?
One thing I want to report, since it's been so hot (and is supposed to be A HUNDRED on Thursday) is that this BareMinerals makeup is holding up like an absolute champ. It doesn't slide off, melt, run, get sticky or otherwise break down, even in the heat, at least not as far as I can tell. I've gotten a bit damp in it, and after I dry out it seems to look just as perfect as before. I really can't recommend this stuff highly enough. (Make sure to get the Mineral Veil with the foundation.)
Maybe today if I'm lucky I'll get some sock knitting done.

Well, up north here in Wisconsin, it was 102 in the shade under my porch with a breeze flying past the thermomete. Officially, though it was only 96. Tuesday 92, Wednesday 92, Thursday 92 and by Friday cooling down to 88!
Oh well, these are in celcius and for Helsinki, Finland. It is a coastal city so the forecast for tomorrow is already highly inaccurate and my be well of by 10 degrees celcius ;).

Here in NYC today is supposed to be the worst with temps reaching 99 -- it is 11:30 and the temp is already 92 so the potential to break 100 is there.
The rest of the week: W -86, Th - 84, F - 89, Sat - 84, Sun - 84, Mon - 85. I think yesterday topped out at 98. I might take the infrared thermometer outside later and see how hot the sidewalk is.
